What information we collect and how it is used

 

We collect standard server log information about visitor numbers, location and pages they visit. We also collect data using Google Analytics code. This does not identify specific users and is used purely to help us understand general user behaviour and preferences. Casale Flaminia will make no attempt to track or identify individual users, except where there is a reasonable suspicion that unauthorised access to systems has or is being attempted. In the case of all users, Casale Flaminia reserves the right to attempt to identify and track any individual who is reasonably suspected of trying to gain unauthorised access to the Casale Flaminia website and servers of any related services.

Our website contains links to third-party websites such as TripAdvisor or Booking.com. We take no responsibility for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst on these sites. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to any third parties. We use your personal information purely so that we can personalise our service towards you.

Our website is hosted on the WIX platform. WIX provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services, products or goods to you. Your data may be stored through WIX’s applications and databases. WIX stores the data on secure servers behind a firewall. 
 

Payment gateways


All direct payment gateways offered by WIX and used by (sm)art adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit or debit card information by our systems and its service providers.

 

Public security requirements

 

The Italian laws for public security (art 109 of the RD 18.06.1931 n.773) require us to communicate to the local police commissioner the name of the guests and information according to the procedures established by the ministry of the interior (GU n.14 del 17-1-2013). So we can clearly communicate the required information to the authorities, for each guest we will need to take a copy of either the passport number or EU ID card number or EU driving license number as well as record the date of arrival and nights of accommodation for electronic submission to Polizia di Stato

 

Telematic transmission of receipts data

As of  1  January 2020, the Italian law (Decree of 05.08.2015 no. 127 ) requires us with the issue of a receipt to individuals to provide for the telematic transmission (through the use of an approved device, Registratore Cassa Telematico) to the Italian tax office Agenzia delle Entrate.

Accounting and tax obligations

 

In order to comply with current administrative, accounting and tax obligations, the required information such as contact details, tax code and/or VAT number on invoice statements and tax documents will be submitted periodically, through our appointed accountant to the Italian tax office Agenzia delle Entrate.

The use of cookies

 

Cookies are small pieces of code that are stored on a user's computer, for the sole purpose of making the website work efficiently or collecting statistical data. Any data we collect preserves the anonymity of the user.
